First you have to insert some waste kit sprues or other plastic material in nitro thinner. After some days you will get a thick plastic liquid. It consistency should be like honey. Next you have to buy one photo etched anti skating metal sheet (it is used as a master and will last a whole plastic-modelers life!).
The plastic liquid must be poured onto this metal sheet in a thin film and after two days it will get solid. Finally one only has to remove carefully this thin plastic foil with a sharp knife. (If the metal is prepared with oil, the removing procedure is easier.)
This foil can be cut into shape and glued onto the kit with cyanoacrylate- super glue.
Be careful, otherwise the delicate pattern will be destroyed! (A substitute you can use white glue, but the bond is not so firm.) In this example one can see the effect of this technique on the right bottom corner of this StuG III interior.
