The model of the Sd.Kfz 251/9 late version is from the AFV-Club company upgraded with PE-parts from Voyager and Eduard. The quality of the kit is excellent and the easy to biuld tracks make modelling a pleasure.
The external storeboxes were scratchbuilt to get a better look of the open cupboard. The wires around the bonnet help to fix cammouflage and are of 0.3 mm diameter. These wires can be seen on original pictures quite often.
This vehicle is part of a so called "fire brigade" unit that were formed by chance from parts of the 116. Tank Division during the chaotic period of the Ruhr-pocket fights in 1945.
