I was born in 1964 in Upper Austria, but now I´m living in Vienna. Starting with aircraft models in 1:72 scale at the age of at about 14, I soon switched to armour and figures. But only since 1998 I´m seriously concerned with the topic of tank-, vehicle-, diorama- and figure construction. I especially prefer to construct scratch built vehicles. This led to somehow strange projects, as there was a self-made interior compartment of a StuG III and a front-section of a Mark IV, although these items could have been bought as well.... Anyhow: scratching is more fun, than buying (and cheaper)! Further hobbies: my family (see picture of my wife to the left. She supports me with her advice concerning the layout of my homepage) and reading military history. |

Martin StieraI was born in 1972 in Magdeburg/GE and bought my first modell in some 15 years ago. Since that time I stepped deeper and deeper into that hobby. In the recent days I mainly build German armour of WW II as well as figures of different scales. Further interest is military history. |

Dieter StrakaBorn on 22.01.1965 in Linz/Austria I am a constructor as profession. The first contact with modelling was - as most of us I suppose - during my childhood. After a break I started again in 1999. My interests concentrate around the German Wehrmacht and other military vehicles from WW II. I am no "rivet counter" but I always try to make my models as accurate as possible. Most important for me is a harmonic impression of the finished work. I try to improve my skills by attending model shows, reading manuals and internet-articles. One never stops learning... |
